Women’s Self Defense and Awareness Workshop

“Women’s Self Defense and Awareness Workshop” provides practical, hands-on training for women to observe, learn, and then engage in ways needed to defend themselves in real-life situations ranging from domestic violence to a random attack in a parking lot. Your attacker may have a weapon, but that does not mean all is lost if you do not have one. You will learn that self-defense does not always look the same. Sometimes it means defending yourself with your own body, but often it is simply knowing where not to find yourself or when to simply walk or run away. This 2 hour seminar created for women by a female martial artist, is offered to those 12 and up. It is designed to help all women, no matter their body type, age, mobility, or disability.
